Explaining various dimensions of philosophy of religion, this paper tries to distinguish it from apologetic, contemporary and ancient theology. The definition of philosophy and religion determine the definition of philosophy of religion and given their various definitions, the philosophy of religion has different definitions. The accepted definition of philosophy of religion in this paper is as follow: a rational activity aimed to justify or reject the main doctrines of religion and their consistency with each other, and to evaluate them critically.     فلسفه دین که امروزه به عنوان یک علم شناخته می‌شود پیشینه چندانی ندارد. در این مقاله می‌کوشیم پس از تبیین ابعاد مختلف فلسفه دین تمایز آن را با کلام قدیم، کلام جدید، و الاهیات نشان دهیم. تعریف فلسفه دین تابعی از تعریف فلسفه و دین است. با توجه به اینکه تعاریف متعددی از فلسفه و دین وجود دارد، طبعاً تعاریف فلسفه دین نیز یکسان نیست. تعریف مورد پذیرش از فلسفه دین در این مقاله عبارت است از: فعالیتی عقلانی یا در جهت معقولیت و توجیه مؤلفه‌ها و آموزه‌های اصلی دین و سازو‌اری آنها با یکدیگر و یا درجهت نفی آنها و نیز ارزیابی نقادانه از آ‌نها.   http://pfk.qom.ac.ir/article_128_94f2a6379b5e17034b8072dec2ebcec5.pdf
