John Finiss, one of the contemporary thinkers and followers of this moral tradition, has tried to depict the path of understanding and realization of man's felicity through nature-based ethics, following Aquinas. Allamah Tabatabaii has also based his moral views on man's natural characteristic and capacities and provided an account of ethical theory of natural law in Islamic tradition. Reviewing the views of these two thinkers in terms of ontology of values shows they are different in the type of realistic and ontological approach, and the number, the manner of existence, and the type of relationship between basic goods, despite significant similarities. The analysis of these differences indicates that Tabatabaii's approach in ontological dimension of moral theory of natural law is more reasonable and defensible than that of Finiss. The present paper seeks to review and analyze the views of these two thinkers about the nature based-ethics in terms of ontology of issues related to the theory of natural law.  <span lang="FA">اخلاقِ مبتنی بر طبیعت، روش فهم سعادت بر اساس ظرفیت‌ها و قوای طبیعی انسان است که در سنت یونانی و به‌ویژه در ارسطو وجود داشته و بعدها در نگرش آکوییناس و سنّت آکویینی دنبال شده است. جان ‌فینیس، که از جمله اندیشمندان معاصر و از پیروان این سنّت اخلاقی بوده، کوشیده است به پیروی از آکوییناس مسیر فهم و تحقق سعادت آدمی را بر اخلاقِ مبتنی بر طبیعت ترسیم کند. علامه طباطبایی نیز دیدگاه‌های اخلاقیِ خود را بر سرشت طبیعی انسان و ظرفیت‌های طبیعی او مبتنی کرده و تقریری از نظریهٔ اخلاقیِ قانون طبیعی را در سنّت اسلامی به تصویر کشیده است. بررسی دیدگاه این دو اندیشمند در بُعد هستی‌شناسیِ ارزش‌ها، نشان می‌دهد که علی‌رغم وجود شباهت‌های چشمگیر، این دو دیدگاه، در نوع رهیافت واقع‌گرایانه و وجودشناسانه و نیز در تعداد، نحوهٔ هستی، و نوع رابطهٔ بین خیرات پایه با یکدیگر متفاوت‌اند. با تحلیل این تفاوت‌ها، به نظر می‌رسد رهیافت علّامه در بُعد وجودشناختیِ نظریهٔ اخلاقیِ قانون طبیعی، از توجیه معقول‌تر و قابل دفاع‌تری نسبت به فینیس برخوردار است. این مقاله می‌کوشد در بُعد وجودشناختیِ مسائل مربوط به نظریهٔ قانون طبیعی، دیدگاه این دو اندیشمند را درباره اخلاقِ مبتنی بر طبیعت تحلیل و بررسی کند.</span> <strong><span lang="FA"><br /></span></strong> https://pfk.qom.ac.ir/article_627_05616f615ce2a87fb710adf9d3623645.pdf
