This criticism finds its grounds on a novel conception of world Heidegger has brought forward in Being and Time, and pursued in his ensuing writings. The <strong>method</strong> of this article lies originally in analyzing the concept of world on the basis of the two philosophers’ views, and finally drawing a comparison between them. The Cartesian world has been characterized as extension but the Heideggerian world is indeed a web/network of relations constituting Dasein’s life. Dasein is in the world but the reverse does not hold true: the world is not in Dasein’s mind. The world is a basic background in which there lies the possibility of making relations, and giving significance toward the ready-to-hand. Henceforward, Heidegger, in some writings of his later thought, criticizes the Cartesian concept of world. In “The Age of World Picture” and “The Question Concerning Technology”, Heidegger pays careful attention to the transformation of world into picture and energy-source both of which are the essential consequences of Descartes’ conception of world. The <strong>conclusion</strong> of this article portrays the fact that the sovereignty of technology in contemporary era stands in line with the Cartesian conception of world. یکی از مهم‌ترین فیلسوفان مورد توجه هیدگر در طول کار فکری‌اش دکارت است. هیدگر در مواضع مختلفی با دکارت مواجه می‌شود و او را مورد نقد قرار می‌دهد. یکی از مهم‌ترین مفاهیم دکارتی که مورد انتقاد هیدگر قرار می‌گیرد، مفهوم «جهان» است. نزد دکارت جهان به کمیّت و امتداد تقلیل می‌یابد و بدل به ابژه‌ای می‌شود که تنها در نسبت با سوژه معنا و منزلت دارد. هیدگر در هستی و زمان تصور جدیدی از جهان را طراحی می‌کند و به نقد تصور دکارتی جهان می‌پردازد. جهان هیدگر درواقع شبکه‌ی روابطی است که زندگی دازاین را برمی‌سازند. دازاین در جهان قرار دارد نه جهان در ذهن دازاین. جهان زمینه‌ای است که در آن برقرارکردن نسبت‌ با امر تودستی ممکن می‌شود و معنا می‌یابد. پس از این، در چند اثر از دوران متأخر نیز هیدگر مفهوم دکارتی جهان را نقد می‌کند. هیدگر در نوشته‌هایی همچون «عصر تصویر جهان» و «پرسش از تکنولوژی»، از بدل‌شدن جهان به تصویر و منبع انرژی یاد می‌کند که درواقع محصول تصور دکارتی از جهان هستند. در این مقاله بر آن‌ایم مفهوم جهان را در اندیشه‌ی این دو فیلسوف مطالعه کنیم و در این اثنا انتقادات هیدگر به تلقی دکارتی و نتایج برآمده از آن برای دنیای مدرن را، با ابتناء به سه اثر یادشده از وی، مورد بررسی قرار دهیم. https://pfk.qom.ac.ir/article_796_c2f7422858acf0bee2dff5db084d4d77.pdf
