Among the main functions of religion in our time, and indeed in all ages, reducing human suffering. Although suffering from one of the most important are the human suffering. They include loneliness, despair, emptiness, and the like. In this article we have tried to start a critical view of the contemporary man, then man with a glimpse into three main suffering, the suffering of failure, loss and suffering caused by repetition and boredom, in short, different ways of dealing with the sufferings of have expressed. We have tried to approach the face of Imam Ali (AS) as someone who has deep experience in the suffering of human existence and the meaning of life, as well. The thesis is that in the religious life, suffering, pain and stiffness there, but all these things in the light of the spiritual image of life bearable, pleasant and sweet it is.
