The relationship between reason and faith has always been a controversial issue. Medieval theologians were trying to integrate an understanding of the philosophical and religious faith. Augustine and Anselm and Aquinas tried to understand the rewards of faith agreed to establish coordination between Aristotelian philosophy and Christian revelation. After Descartes a distinction between the subjective and objective, of the separation of science from theology was provided. Moreover, with Kant and Hume's criticisms of rational theology, theology is possible, natural religion is revelation. Thus, philosophical claims set aside to pay the claims of the revelation. Another group of opponents of rational theology like Blantynja believe that if the idea of Cartesian foundationalism cease and belief in God we believe in the basic rationality of faith, it will not be forced to adopt a defensive stance faith is not Aymangrayy. This article, the course of history and examines the strengths and weaknesses of this approach.
