برهان معرفت‌شناختیِ کارکرد صحیح بر وجود خدا

چکیده

تاریخ تفکر دینی و عقلی، میزبانِ اندیشه‌های متعدّدی دربارة اثبات وجود خداوند بوده است. در این میان، اندیشمندان حوزة دین به سه نوع از براهینِ غایت‌شناختی (teleological)، وجود شناختی(ontological) و کیهان‌شناختی(cosmological)،  توجه کرده‌اند. آلوین پلنتینگا را می‌توان شخصیتی دانست که بر این طرق سه‌گانه، طریقة چهارمی می‌افزاید. در واقع، تلاش وی در این زمینه، قابلیت آن را دارد که با عنوان «برهان معرفت‌شناختی کارکرد صحیح(proper function) بر وجود خدا» نام‌گذاری شود. این مقاله درصدد است تا با نظر به آرای این متفکر، خواننده را در جریان مقدمات این برهان تازه قرار دهد و میزان کارآمدی و توانایی این برهان را  محک بزند. نویسنده برآن است که این برهان، هرچند مبتنی بر دیدگاه خاصی در باب ماهیت توجیه یا - بنا به اصطلاح آلوین پلنتینگا- ضمانت است، با این‌حال، به خوبی می‌تواند در زمرة تلاش‌های موفقی قرار گیرد که در زمینة اثبات وجود خدا صورت گرفته‌اند.

The history of religious and rational thought has entertained many ideas concerning the arguments for the existence of God. Among the arguments advanced, there have been three kinds of arguments known as: teleological, ontological and cosmological arguments; and Alvin Plantinga can be named as a great figure who has added to these three kinds the forth. Indeed, his endeavours are to be esteemed as a new argument for the existence of God. The argument is by the name of “epistemological argument of proper function for the existence of God”. This essay, considering Plantinga’s view on epistemology of beliefs, is to show the reader the premises of the argument and to assay its efficiency. The author holds that the argument in question, although is seriously dependent on the “theory of proper function” of warrant, is a new way in establishing the existence of God and can be considered as good path, upon which a rational believer can rely.
